Check out my new EVO
Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd say hi and show you all what I just picked up. Its a 2005, Electric blue, and I bought it from CBRD Speed Factory in York PA. The guys at CBRD were awesome and the car is nothing short of amazing. I have been looking for an EVO for about 2 months and I can't be happier with this one. Here is a list of the work (all done by CBRD)
Engine:
- slightly bigger turbo build by CBRD (its an Evo IX exhaust housing that CBRD mated to an aftermarket compressor housing with a billet turbine wheel with more vains than the stock one. It also has an aftermarket bearing) Spool up is instant and it holds 23 psi all day long
- TBE with no cat
- Lower intercooler piping and an AMS intercooler
- 800 cc injectors
- 272 cams
- CBRD tune and manual boost controller
- ACT clutch
- The car puts down ~ 330 whp on CBRD's MUSTANG dyno.
there is probably a few more things that I am forgetting, but the car runds great. It is really mild for everyday driving but it flys when I get into the boost. I drove it a little over 300 miles the first/second day I had it and I got ave. 23 mpg, and that was some highway but mostly around town and I was pushing the car.
suspension:
- lowered but not sure what brand springs and shocks
- rear strut bar in the trunk
- Not sure if it has stock swaw bars or not
Hope you guys like it. I
