I can never get that search thing to work. It just comes up as a white blank page then if I refresh it gets all pissed. So I dont know if this question has been asked 100000 times or not.

But, I was wondering if the clutch on the evo VIII is as bad as I have heard. I was watching Top Gear and they were saying it was horrible. They also mentioned there is horrible turbo lag. True? Just thought I'd ask. I am trying to make a decision of an VIII or a IX.

the stock clutch does wear as the car does make alot of power but their isnt really that bad of drivableity issues as they state. also the turbo lag happens with a 5th gear pull from 30mph. you prolly wont ever do that but when normal driving you wont notice the lag that bad. any rpm about 4k the turbo hits hard.

 

im interested in the question too. i also hear that the clutch all depends on the driver. if this is your daily driver and your not launching it, racing or punching it all the time it will probably last a lot longer even if you have a lot of mods or not.
