Congrats on the new ride!

I would suggest a tune first! You wont need a chip, as tuning for the X via ECU is coming around nicely! From what I have read... I have heard good things about this chip though! Enjoy the new power for a while, then upgrade wisely. Keep in mind, The power will never be enough!

welcome to evo community !!!!!From what i recall the header isnt something your going to want unless you swap to a large turbo from what ive seen for power its the intake exhaust tune and maybe a intercooler and hardpipe kit???/ maybe someone with a X can chime in here and give you better direction then that..
Good advice nons ,,,, it never satisfies

so what is the difference

chip vs ecu im trying to understand you install the chip and it just sets your computer to different specs as opposed to the ecu you can sorta manually tune the car your self please help

Chip is normally something you plug into your ECU to give false data to your ECU to give more power. A tune will reprogram your computer directly and not worry about trying to 2nd guess itself. Mean means changing timing, fuel, boost, ect. I'd like to mod my car but no money for that stuff.
