I'm about to go to basic and have a feeling ill be stationed over seas so my question is for those who have and baught cars over there. Have you tried to bring them back state side with you? If you have what did you have to do. If stationed over seas I going to buy a Evo 2 or 3 thats why and would want to bring it back with me. Thank You.

Shipping itself isn't insanely expensive but you need to make sure that it can be registered here and passes DOT standards.

Why dont you find out if you are going first and then worry about it. You will pay out the a$$ to ge a car back. You should save your money and fix your current car, if you have one.

an evo 2 or 3 will not pass DOT standards over here so it will be illegal to drive in the states.
