depends what you want if you are going to be going into tracking and that sort i would pick the evo but for a cruising around car the camaro would be nice the 370z i have never looked into yet but the 350 looked to be a good track car also but i think they are heavy. also do you want bigger engined car or smaller turbod engine? how many miles on the evo?

The new 370Z is looking like it's going to be quite a car based on the first batch of test results, but for the money, that Evo is going to give you more smiles per dollar... assuming it wasn't abused and is in pretty good condition.

before i bought the evo, i narrowed it down to similar cars. 04+ 350z track, 05+ G35 6MT Coupe, Lancer Evolution 9, & Impreza WRX STi. after test driving them all, i though to myself, "since i'm getting rid of my FD, i KNOW i'm going to miss a turbo car" which narrowed my choices to the Evo & STi. IMO, the STi interior is gaudy so i bought a 9MR-SE

Your looking at a $10,000+ difference between the evo and the 370. Put $5,000 into the evo and watch how much you love life.

^ Let's not forget that the 370Z is still in its first year of production, so not only do we not know what bugs will need to be worked out, but it's fairly obvious that the factory tune is quite restrained, and Nissan will start opening up the motor in a year or two. Keep in mind how original estimates put the 370Z at 340-350 hp but it gets released with barely more than what the G37 has? There's a lot of steam left in it. Personally, I would hate to get the earliest versions because of the revisions that will be made within the first year or two, kind of like the Evo.

Get whatever floats your boat. Five years ago I purchased a 350Z...loved it to the day I sold it...needed a four door. I can't wait till I put some money into my Evo. 370 is a beauty. If I didn't need a four door, I would purchase the 370...oh wait, I'd rather purchase a lotus. Lotus is now my future dream car :-) I will be keeping my evo when I get my Lotus

which brings me 2 my next point...
i will have 7,000 spare money left over if i buy the evo cuz i got 27359 in me bank...
so if i put that into the evo it would dominate both them cars correct?
already the evo i bet can take the 370z off line 0-60 is .3 seconds faster.. only thing z gots is better top end but how often will i go 170 in a car? haha
i dunno 7k moded evo 9 mr or a 370z with payments for a little...
and no mods for a while cause id be saving up for a track car. id baby a z and only reason i dont want it also. and 2 d.. vs 4 d
ionno if i put 3-7k into a evo will the results be ridiculous?

I have $15k into mine and my evo is at the bottom of the barrel when comparing to the evos on here. I did a couple things twice, so i lost money in that sense. This site has so many proven setups to get xxx hp and run xx 1/4 mile times. It depends on how you mod. $5k could get you some nice wheels, or 450hp and look stock. If you plan on modding the snot out of it, you could save yourself some money and look into a fully built evo in the for sale section and save tens of thousands in the long run. my .02
