To remove the whole front bumper to install a aftermarket intercooler such as a TurboXs? Or can it be done carefully with out? Thanks

No, some intercoolers require the bumper support to be removed which can cause your insurance claim to be denied if your involved in an accident. However lots of aftermarket intercoolers are direct replacements that don't require the bumper support removal. Normally 3.5" and smaller dont require removal of the bumper support. Check with the mfr to be sure.

i dont think the op is talking about the bumper support or is he? I think he is talking about the bumper cover. i may be wrong but any person with common sense would see the cover has to be removed.

the whole front bumper needs to be removed, as well as the support. Now most all intercoolers can have the bumper support reinstalled, there are just a few that you must leave it off for.

If I took off the whole bumper I might as well take off the support too lol, but I was just seeing if there was a way around taking the front bumper off.

Well if you take off your bumper support, you might damage your expensive FMIC in those little fender bender incident. Also, insurance not will cover you, yet alone replace the FMIC since you took off the support beam.

I'm not going to lie, it's going to be a pain to mount the brackets with the bumper on, it might even be impossible!
