Lancer OZ Rally Edition

Hello,
I'm looking for a car and seen a lancer oz rally edition and thought they looked pretty good but I thought i should do some research on them first. They seem pretty cheap which is good but I wanted to know how they perform and safety. Whats the horse power on oz rally and how is it safety wise?

Thanks

well. power is ok. its an econo box, but its fun to drive. it is very comfortable compared to most. somewhat cheap interior-kind of rattles after a long while, and safety is good. i got in a 70 mph spinout with no injuries at all. i knocked down an exit sign with my door and hit a gaurd rail(these things got the best offset frontal collision crash test--meaning if you hit anything going at it with your headlight, you'll be safe). and yeah. so theyre pretty safe(from my experiences). and the power- its ok. i mean its nothing spectacular but its nothing too wimp-ish. but thats what turbo kits are for

Seems decent for the price, you can't expect big numbers for little dollars . I enjoy mine, got as high as 38 MPG doing 75-80 MPH on the highway. If you want more power, like cleofis said, that's why they make a turbo kit for it.

If you want more power, you should buy the LS and put the money you saved on a turbo kit from RRM. Don't put any down payment. That payment could be the money you need to buy the turbo kit. A down payment of 4000$ would lower you monthly payments of about 50$, so it's really not worth it.

If I knew about the turbo, that's what I would have done
