Talking Evo 6 TME in Australia

Hi all,

Been reading the site for ages but joined only recently and thought I'd start posting.. some interesting mods you guys have.. much more full on than majority of Australian cars in terms of stroker kits etc.. mind you there's probably a lot more of u!

Thought I'd share some info of my car.. it's an RS2 evo 6.. one of 98 that were sold by Ralliart Australia

Mods:

PowerFC
Evo Green 20G Turbo
HKS 280 Cams
HKS Cam Gears
HKS Valve Springs
HKS retainers
HKS carbon cold air box with Apexi filter
Full Race exhaust manifold
Ralliart Intercooler Piping
Techsport Custom front mount Intercooler
Oil catch can.. I forget the brand
Walbro Fuel pump
Ralliart Rear Brace
Carbing Front Brace
DBA 4000's currently with DS2500's
JDM front LSD
Brass Button Clutch (can hear the screech from streets away.. but I still love it lol)
Tomie Extreme Dump and front pipe
Buddy club cat back exhuast
Volks Racing SE37's in black
Proflex Coilovers while the long process of rebuilding my Ohlins continues.. (coilovers driven through wet cement = bad)
Have blacked out around the window frame including pillars to give the windows a more complete look
Carbon fibre front splitters
Carbon rear blade
Carbon bonnet duct
Carbon ganadors

To be fitted..

Project Mu SCR rotors, HC+ pads
Goodridge braided brake lines (in red of course)

To come..
New cat, bigger injectors and intake manifold next probably.. then will up the boost for some more power

Performance:

1/4 mile: 12.0 seconds.. could definitely make 11's, especially with a few more pounds of boost and would love to purely for brag factor but mindful of potential $$ when part of the car remains on the start line at the drags so wont be bothering lol
Dyno: 255kw atw @ 20psi on a nice, safe tune before the exhaust manifold has been installed

Quick vid of the exhaust.. I feel so bad for the people on the first floor above our garage.. have to smile sheepishly when passing in the lift..

Kinda old pics unfortunately as these are from photobucket.. I lost all my photos from my computer last week.. piece of **** laptop!

Old pic but my favourite.. makes Perth look tropical too lol

I like this pic I took at the track.. striped vs nude..

Thanks guys, the 6 has always been my favourite since we used to go and watch Rally Australia every year..

Can you get them in the US if you import personally from Japan or do you guys have restrictions?

Thanks for the comments guys

Hopefully one day I'll live my dream of taking the evo to the states and europe to hit all the famous racetracks..

There's lots of 6's in Australia but not too many red ones still
