Brand New Noobie Owner

Today I bought my first Evo. I got a '03 Apex Silver Evo VIII. Completely stock motor. The only changes made were a boost gauge and EGT gauge on the A-pillar, a wireless tire pressure gauge on the steering column, ACT clutch(installed at 50k miles), Perrin short shifter, and an Alpine head unit. The car was a one owner car, had 76,5** miles on it, the carfax report is super clean. I got it for $15,900. I could NOT have bought the car from a better owner. He had records for EVERYTHING. His gas fill ups, tire rotation, any service. Had receipts for the rear arm rest. Said his kids had worn the other a little and had it replaced. I noticed the spoiler didn't have the usual crack and fade of the clear coat. He said he had it replaced with a new one.But the main thing is I've owned the car since 1 pm est and I still have that sh*t eating grin plastered on my face. And my wife is happy because I have room for the kids. My oldest girl always asks when we get in any car "Daddy, is this a fast car?" And tonight I said "Yes honey, Yes it is." That's my story, hope its not to long or boring.

haha thats a funny story. I think i was looking at that car online. It was in NC right? I was just wondering how it runs with that many miles on it. I've heard people say that when they have too many miles they start to wear down. Is this true? If you have any issues please let me know. Thanks!

Yea it was in Raleigh NC. The only issue is the alignment. It tends to pull to the left. I haven't tried fixing it yet. I plan on doing that early next week. Other than that its been perfect. Now my right foot is directly connected to my face muscles.

Just be careful as that prob. means the caster is off and you'll have a hard time adjusting caster w/o coilovers. Sounds like a great purchase though! Congrats!
