New Guy Here Looking at the Evo X need some insight pls.

How's everyone doing? I am new and just been looking @ the evo x to change my car that currently sits in the garage and was wondering how everyone is liking their Evo X? I am looking to trade in my 98 Vette since I am getting a little tired of it and just want something new. I have always liked Evo's ever since they came out and have owned imports for majority of my life such as rx 7's, 240's, honda's and etc. I am just curious if I would actually the switch over? I have a local dealer asking 26k for a 08 GSR and with some discounts I though this would be a steal for such a car. Just looking for some insight and opinions. Thanks everyone.

$26k? is that new?

reader's digest version:

usable back seat
trunk is a bit small
steering is divine lots of driver confidence
stock power leaves you wanting for more, but a tune is cheap. (not V8 power).
A lot easier to daily drive than a vette, more ground clearance, better visibility.

I see you have a Vette in your avatar. Yes that is 26k new they have some special going for the GSR. I received emails about it from them since I inquired about one last year. My Vette is not a daily driver but just a weekend cruiser and the Evo X will most likely be the same but will be driven more frequently than the Vette since it will be able to going onto my AFB since it will clear the spike strip going out of base as my Vette does not. As far as power goes I am pretty much done with "being the fastest" as I guess I am growing out of that now. My Vette does produce some power since I modded it with a mild cam and full exhaust but since here in Missouri our winters keep my Vette inside more than I like but with being in the USAF I could PCS at anytime. I just wonder what people like or dislike about their Evo. Thanks for the input hopefully more owners will chime in.
