Ok, so i am brand new to the EVO world, and this is a stupid question, but wanted to know whether a 2006 EVO wing would fit on the 2003 EVO? Also is there any signifcant difference between the EVO 8 and EVO 9 wing? Thanks!

 

The two wings will fit but the 8 wing has carbon fiber on the end pieces whereas the the 9 wing does not

Not sure on the weight, and you may not even notice the look. Carbon fiber is exposed on the wing panel on both the VIII and IX wings, but the VIII also has exposed cf on the inside of the end pieces (the rest of the end piece is painted cf as apposed to painted plastic on the IX).

Even with a light colored car, you'll probably only see the cf on the inside of the plates if you're looking for it. On a dark/black car, it will be nearly invisible.
