hello,
im looking to purchase an evo later this year. hopefully before summer. im selling my mazdaspeed 3, and im having trouble picking out the right evo. im looking for something either 05-06. i like the recaro seats so the RS isn't right for me. my favorite so far is the 06 SE, but im still not sure. im hoping on either a white, black, or dark grey... in the order. i tried finding which colors are offered for each model but i didn't find what im looking for. i think MR's are the most appealing but someone at a car show last week said they don't trust the transmissions (whatever that means).

any input would help... and sorry if this was a repeat thread, i searched and didn't fine much. if it is can someone post the link to that tread so other people down waste their time on this one

The RS has Recaro seats just like all other Evo's.

i only have like 26k MAX... i probably should have mentioned that. i wish i could get a X

 

the se's are a little harder to find but the red stitching on the interior is sharp. the other perks are nice to like hid lights and aluminum panels. dont worry though soon as you get yourself in one it doesnt even matter which one youll have a blast.


oh yeah the 6 speeds in the mr have a bad rap around here as far as not holding the power the 5spd will

 

what do you plan to do with your Evo? daily drive? road race? drag? rally? ....it really depends on what you want to do with it and what is your budget....

 

I would say get an Evo8 for around 20k-ish and use the rest of the money for mods
