evo noob questions

long story short ... im looking to get a evo8 gsr. Loved the car ever since it came to the states and finally will have a chance to get 1!! im excited to say the least.

just had a few noob questions

1) can aftermarket springs be used with stock evo 8 gsr shocks? or is it recommended to get some aftermarket shocks?

2) im looking to do basic bolt ons and a vishnu chip ....... and the car will be daily drivin
< this a good idea for a daily drivin car? Im heavy when it comes to reliability. Would u recomend a better fuel pump for the boltons and vishnu chip

3) any common problems/complaints about the evo 8 gsr? anything at all? even stupid things i dont care

Theres tons of diffrent things to look for when buying a new car. Evo's are can be beat on so make sure its not in the wrong hands. I would recommend to search the forums to discover more info on what to look for. If you get the evo from privite party you should take it to the dealer or shop that specializes in evos, and have them look it over. Good luck
