need some advise!

ok ive been thinking about get a x cause there having such great deals right now on them and i'm at 30k miles stock brakes, tires, clutch so i'm going to need these things shorty or spend it on the new car! my question is the highest price i can get for my car (trade in value) is 23k for my "ix mr se" in great condition. is this a good amount for my for? i am getting a good deal on the new one but 23k for my car seems kinda low even for trade in's..

what do you guys think, could i do better?

my neighbor is the general sales manager of a dealership and they took in a 2006 with 7000 miles on it for $24k so i think your getting offered a fair amount. but in my opinion you probably wont be happy with a new one because it wont be as fast and you will have to do those mods all over again (and still be slower...)

Well other than great deals what are you looking to do with your evo? I thought about getting a X as well but these guys/girls def werent wrong in saying the X's are soft. My VIII is a lot more raw and feels more fun to drive and ride in than the X. Im having mine built though and I dont care about some of the creature comforts that the X might provide.

So I guess we would have to know your plans and intentions.

The X looks nice too but I'd preferred to keep the IX. Show us some pix when you do traded in for the X.

I got offered 22.5k on my IX MR with about 18k miles at the time and I was going to walk out the door with the X at 500 below MSRP, can't remember the numbers right now, but it was a loaded GSR with everything but NAV. I walked away from the deal thought because I didn't feel like modding the X all over again and losing money on my mods.

The price they offered on my car was also more than it was worth at the time with a hole in the block but still would have paid off my car and put money towards the X

Evo X's are awesome but I'd keep my VIII.

Evo 10s are sexy. I say go. Also, I have a feeling that some major breakthroughs with the 4B11 will be had and some good power will be available.
