CF Hood

ok, i have been looking on this site for a long time now and for the most part find everything that i want to know. searching is a good thing. but i have been searching for a pic i found a long time ago of a silver and black evo, in the pic the silver one had a cf hood that looked stock but was raised higher giving kind of a cowl hood look, but looked alot more aggressive. i was wondering if any of you know the pic that i am talking about and what kind of hood that was. and if it was good quality. any help would be great.

I remember the pic you are talking about and have actually seen a few cars done like that in person. Some of the guys I saw just put spacers and longer bolts in between there hinges and hoods. I personally don't like the look however I can see the interest.

Sure. Go for looks! Because Evo needs higher drag-coefficient.

no i think that you mis-understood me. the rear of the hood isn't raised, where the natral flow of the hood comes up from the front by the grill to the vent. on oem there is just a small incline this has a steeper incline which gives it that agressive look. if i can find the pic i can just go from there and it will explain itself, but being in iraq with ****ty *** internet it is hard to bring up pics so my searching isn't going so well.
