I was in the same boat. I was leaning to the Evo more though for obvious performance reasons and looks reasons. The deal breaker was friends who had lightly to heavily modded STI's who said they regretted them and wanted an EVO. That says it all for me.

I agree with MRJEVO... I haven't personally driven an STI, but there are plenty of people on this board that have made the swtich from an STI to an Evo. The Evo doesn't offer a whole lot as far as interior comforts, but that's easily modifed. Plus, I don't know how it is where you live but think about how many STI's you've seen compared to Evo's. I see STI's all the time, but seeing an Evo is rare.
