Opinions??

Hey guys so I'm on here to just hear some opinions.

I currently do NOT have an EVO but my brother does and he doesnt have valid driving privilages so I'm thinking about buying it. Lets start from the beginning I currently own an 05 SRT-4. Its got a gt3076r and a whole lot of money, but ever since I purchased it the car never performed the way it should. For example when ppl dyno'd 270whp I did like 240 with the same setup. Well I'm just sick of it i love the car but I just need to go to something which i know is running right.

The Evo is a 03 with 53k miles. Never modded only thing was a TBE last yr. Would you say its ok to start modding it with so many miles and is an 03 good enough???

The mods would be

Swap the Gt3076r into the Evo
MBC
Injectors/ fuel pump
Cams
Exedy Twin Disc
Head Studs
AMS Tune

What do you guys think it would dyno and what kinda 1/4 times??

You would probably need some kind of manifold for the turbo and I'm not a pro at guessing these things but with a good tune I think you would put over 400whp which is good for 11s.

P.S. - An '03 with 53k on it is definitly fine to mod.

sounds like a good plan evo>srt any day.

as for 1/4 mile times, and hp i think you'd have search whp, and run search.search @ search mph.

seriously though, plenty of 3076 dyno result and drag strip time threads here. no problem modding a 03 evo, just make sure its all up to date on maintenance. buy the evo and dont look back
