I wouldnt call it ricey just a poor two tone paint job.... its really hard to find a good 2 tone evo anywhere

 

i think the car looks good. I think its funny how people on this forum think because their car came with a turbo and its all wheel drive -suddenly its not a rice rocket..

HELLO!!! Its a damn japanese car. Its a damn 4 cylinder. They drive these damn things in japan. IT STARS IN A MOVIE CALLED TOKY DRIFT! ITS HAS A HUGE WING AND SIDESKIRTS AND FRONT MOUNTED INTOERCOOLER!!! IT DOES NOT GET ANY MORE RICE THAN THIS! jesus!

I would actually buy it, slap on a jdm rear with some aggressive wheels and a new paint, thats one mean evo

The only thing wrong with it is the paint. People here hate too much, I know it doesn't look like everyone else's favorite show car, but damn. Put a CF trunk and hood on it to help the paint?
But if you look close, the whites don't match. Definitely just a repaint and you are golden. Sell the rims if chrome isn't your style.

 

Definitely not rice just someone with some attention problems. I would tell him to take like 3k off the price since the car needs to be painted right after you buy it. It's not a civic there is a lot better way to spend the $$ then a paint job.

 

hey man i agree with you about the rice rocket thing, if its from japan, its a rice burner, or rocket, what ever you wanna call it. but i cant seem to get around that people dont think its a rice rocket. besides looks and performance, it came from the same place, japan, where hondas are made, if someone had the money to make a honda AWD and slap a turbo at 19 psi, with a nicer looking body. (built for it kinda motor though) than im pretty sure a bunch of people would buy it. but thats why i bought mine, not just to have a fast and reliable nice car but because i like rice rockets more than american v8s...

 

i think the car as a whole looks ok. it will sell for sure. its still a evo at heart lol. now the paint job is alittle shocking ill say that not the best or rather combo for sure. Rims are just ugly cant say i feel the style but all in all its afixable project for sure. and btw just because a evo is rocking a body kit doesnt mean its slow

 

very true^. im sure more crazy evos will pop up later i only have two months left.

 

Come on y hate on the wing, the evo is part of the reason civics try throwin it on. Thats our wing its not rice.

 

Really dont know why people run full Voltex kit on the street. I'm sure they will make good use of it in the highway =/
Not many people spend thousands of dollars on functional aero kits and use it for its purpose.
Btw car looks ok but the paint is horrible.

 

I saw an ugly evo the other day. Im not sure if they bought a body kit for their car or a car for their body kit. Im thinking the later. lol.. The thing looked like it was going on a mission to outter space haha. But there is some evo-ness in there.... somewhere.... gotta dig deep lol

 

Agreed its just the paint im sure the car is very nice under it all.
