i've been doing amature rallycross in california for the last 2 years. my honda has had it and i've had it with my honda.
my next car WILL be a 2nd gen 95-99 eclipse/laser/talon. only i feel kinda stupid i spent all my time trying to rember torgue specs on my honda and NO time looking at all these cool mitsus. i know a little about the 4g63 1st gen and 2nd gen. BASICLY i'm going to put a amature RALLYCROSS BEAST on the dirt. what engine and trans should i swap in? i'm planning on finding a dead MSD car and fixing it up.
what is the FASTEST engine that i can bolt up to my 4g63 95-99 mitsu? is there stuff i can't do ? will the new evo 8 engine just swap in ? what motors am i limited to ? is the 97 awd trans the best ect. ? can i buy a jdm motor and just bolt it up to my '90 fwd trans? is there any great economy engines/trans combos that are built ?
get the idea i'm lost i need someone to say
"b16a1-a3 swap into crx =cheap and add jdm parts/turbo ." that the best way to say it.
