Titanium Package?

Ok, so I recently bought a Evo X MR from eBay. The seller states that it has the Titanium Package. Now I've tried googling it, but I haven't found anything. Do you think he's maybe confusing the name with the premium package? I'm not sure if that's the case, because in the description, he mentions everything in the MR package, just not Rockford Fosgate stereo.

Also, how do I get rid of the dealer's badge?

There is no such thing as a Titanium Package. If you do a little research on what the packages include, you should be able to identify which ones are really on that car.

For the badge--if it's like any other normal badging, hair dryer/heat gun to warm it up, floss, and wiggle it until it starts coming off. After that use some gunk remover to polish it and you're done.

It's been my experience that most Ebay sellers are full of it and have no idea what they're talking about. They use "creative" ad descriptions to lure buyers into buying their stuff.

But congrats on the car. Did you run a Carfax on it?

He might be talking about what is typically called the "Interior Sport" package. It gives you the metal shift knob and parking brake handles. While they're aluminum and not titanium, that would be my guess unless they're just making stuff up out of thin air.

Or maybe it's a dealer-specific thing: "Our titanium package includes: <insert list of things nobody wants, like Scotch-guarded seats for $600>"

The only Titanium package I've heard of was offered by Audi on the A4.
