Hey guys, I have an 05 MR and I have been having some extreme squeaking from my left front brake. I just put on the dba 4000 slotted with hawk hps pads today and I still have the exact same squeak. Its more of a squeal, just when I'm slowing down around 20-5mph. And it gets louder the more pressure I apply. I greased the back of the pads and made sure to double check that everything was installed correctly. I'm at a loss as to what the hell is making this terrible sound. Its very loud, and doesn't always happen.

Any ideas? Has anyone had a similar problem? Its only the front driver side brake.

i heard the hawk pads are prone to squeaking

 

yeah, but I have them on all and its only squeaking front left

 

hawks some squeek some dont, first set i had squeeled pretty good recently replaced and havent squeeked since
