Okay, so I've been trying to deal with a misfire in cylinder 2 for a while now. It is throwing that code as well as the "injector circuit open" code for the same cylinder. I have replaced the plugs, gapped them to .020, replaced the wire for the cylnder, and found myself with the same exact problem. I have some other problems with the fuel pump, which I replaced only to find it wasn't the problem. I also replaced the fuel pump resistor, which kinda helped. I had a situation wherein the catalytic converter was melted closed, running to lean? Well, regardless that is replaced too. I am having some trouble with this car and I definitely need help from anybody that can help me. Any ideas?


Edit: Hmm... When I took the plug out for the cyl 2nd from the left while looking at the car, it was burnt horribly, slightly wet, and just completely filled with carbon. Any ideas? I replaced it but it didn't help. I thought that was cyl #3, no?
