First off to clear things up. You need at least 15 posts to have a CUSTOM avatar. if u have less then 15 posts u can have an avatar but not a custom one. Please do not spam to get 15 posts.

First off click

it should be near the top. then u click options, scroll down and click on "Change Avatar" If you have less then 15 posts feel free to choose an avatar provided and u can come back and change it to a custom one after. If u have 15 posts click yes on "Use Custom Avatar".

Obtaining Image:
You can either save a picture on ur hardrive by right clicking or getting the url of the picture.

URL of Picture:
To get the url of the picture right click the picture and select properties. Then look for "Address (URL)" copy that address. Go back to the avatar page and paste the URL on the space provided

Uploading Avatar From Computer:
You can upload an avatar from your computer by clicking browse and searching for the picture. After u find the picture u want click on it and hit open.

Saving Modification:
Click "Submit Modifications" and youre all set.
