wussup guys im having a little boost problem on my evo 9 i want to know if its a boost leak or something deeper when i accelerate it spools up to about 23psi and then the higher the rpms get the boost jus keeps going down and it feels as if the car is allmotor thanks in advance

mods are:test-pipe,catback,forge mbc,255 fuel pump,and a street tune

 

It's normal for your boost to taper off a little at higher RPM's. But if you think that what you're experiencing is not normal then I would deffinately check for leaks.

 

Yes, it's completely normal. It never hurts to check for boost leaks, but there are a few ways to alleviate taper on the stock turbo, one of which is to use the Forge WGA.

thanks for the input but from like 4,000 rpm to 5,000rpm it drops from like 23 to 10psi then when i change gear it feels like the car dont want to go at all if i keep steeping on it

 

umm i have a really big problem that i cant figure out plz help!!! ok well i have an evolution 8 and i recently put an ets upper intercooler piping on and its acting all trippy now it will go from 15psi past 30 psi and i have it set at 25psi. someone was saying it could be that im not getting enough air in (i still have the stock box) so is that the problem?? anyone plz help it would be very much appreciated

 

Your car is jumping from 15psi to 30psi? Did you have a boost leak before? Post up a couple pictures of your install and I will see if I can help you out.
