My Ideas, take a peek...
My Ideas, take a peek...
After many hours spent deliberating on the issue of whether or not to keep my Evo VIII, the verdict is a commanding YES! I have tried for almost five months to unload it at a reasonable OBO format with very minor interest due to the decrepit state of the economy.
Let's cut to the chase...During the month of May I will be replacing my stock clutch with an ACT HDSS and also rebuilding an installing a used, non-ACD transfer case with LSD, due to the infamous "death whine."
AND THE MODDING BUG'S ARE OUT AND THIRSTY!!!
I have some flexibility with my finances due to some extra scholarship and grant money from school...so what better than to spend the cash on then the AWD beast instead of taking summer courses.
My current mod list is located in my sig plus a boost gauge, and I'm thinking of progressing in this direction here:
Walbro 255lph
Hallman MBC
ETS LICP
possibly cams
TTP dyno tune
I would like to be in the vicinity of ~380hp to satisfy my pallette
Let me know if these numbers would be anyway attainable, would you do anything different to reach?
This is my DD with atleast 5-10 miles/day, so reliabillity is a factor...
Any constructive criticism/comments are welcome!

With Forge Unos MBC, Forge RS Recirc BOV, Walbro 255 fuel pump, KN drop-in, and QTP downpipe, Scott got 360awhp/360trq out of my car on the Mustang dyno.
23.5psi stock turbo
The QTP cutout is loud as hell and I don't have an O2 bung welded on it, so Scott had to estimate the AFRs while the car was on the dyno.
hope this gives you perspective.
BTW just got an ACT 6-puck installed by TTP, the install was relatively quick (5-6 hours) and the clutch he offers is for a really good price.

I/C reinforce I/C piping or redo piping, TBE, intake, Walbro 225lph fuel pump and a TTP flash.
I sit at 375 AWHP / 370 AWTQ on TTP's dyno.
