Question Intruduction and power questions.

Hello everyone!
Recently got myself an -04 Evo VIII RS and found this forum.
Long story short, the car had put down some impressive ET's and power numbers in California, but some of the parts that supported that was removed when I got a hold of it. I removed the OEM lower intercooler pipe and installed ETS LP2 in it's place, headed over to Kito Auto Sport (KAS) here in Seattle and got Kito himself to tune it on his Mustang dyno.
Resulted in: 277.9whp@6223 RPM, 248.0Ft-Lbs@3587 RPM with Mustangs standard weather correction factor (WCF).
Boost peaking at 24.1psi@~3300 RPM, tappering down to 19.5 @ 7500 RPM
There dyno is known as a 'heartbreaker' and I have to agree with that

Please se my pictures and album for exact part list, to much for this already long post...

So naturaly the question is what to do to get it to put down some serios power and still be responsive close to the current since I drive it every day..!

I have read tons of threads here on the forum about the things I'm thinking of doing/change, more to that in a bit, but all go off topic and are rather hard to read.

So I figure it will be easier to start a whole new thread and, hopefully, get the info I need!

Here is what I want to achieve; Get maximum power (400+whp?) on pumpgas (92octane her in Seattle), with as little change in spool up from OEM as possible since I drive it every day.

So after mucho research and reading here and on-line I figure this is what I need; BBK full or FP green turbo, 1000cc(?) injectors and maybe bigger intercooler.

And that leads to the questions...
How much does the OEM intercooler flow and when is it necesery to step up size?
What about the cams?
I've seen the reversed combination from what I got, (268in/272ex) and off course the 'straight' 272s but never 280in/272ex.
Can the OEM ECU run two sets (8) injectors?
At what output level does the OEM bottom end fail?

Thanks!

wow your tuner could answer all those questions if you ask him. unless hes not a real tuner.

oem intercooler flow i heard at about 400 whp its done. would need to upgrade
cams are just that many choices to choose from. Just decided aggressive or mellow and that should lead you down the right cam selection.
not sure if oem can run 8 injectors. Ask your tuner or better yet pm mellon tuning. he is like the master of the OEM ECU TUNING.
As far as bottom end failing once you get above 510 whp on stock bottom end your on borrowed time. Now yes yes yes there are people running way over that 565-600 in some cases on stock bottom end running fine. Do you really want to chance it?? its your car do what you want.
