Who do Mitsubishi dearerships answer to?

Who do individual Mitsubishi dealerships have to directly answer to? I need some leverage against the dealership that sold me my car because of a dispute I'm having with them.

I have been VERY patient with this dealership and I'm going to call them and give them one last chance to make good on an obligation that they have to me. I want to let them know that if they don't cooperate with me, I will begin moving up the chain to get it resolved.

I'm not looking to go to the Better Business Buero just yet. I would like to know the next step up from the dealership.

The Mitsubishi dealership is located in a different state than me, or I would go get this dispute resolved in person. Does anyone have any positive experiences with this kind of thing?

This is my only option. The tax office contacted the Texas Department of Transportation department to see if there was any other way around it and they said no.

Dealerships don't create titles. DMVs do that. Contact the DMV of the state where you bought the car and ask if they can get you a new title for the car.

exactly. DMV for the title, unless your talking about the finance papers. If they messed something up there they can reprint you the correct version for ya.

The dealership will still likely have to be the one to do it, since the DMV won't print off a new title for anyone but the owner.

Exactly, if the dealership filled it out incorrectly, they (the dealership) will likely have to get a new title issued, then fill it out correctly and give it to the OP.

You can try like customer relations with Mitsubishi directly (CORP)
They wont have tooo much control over the situation, but might be able to assist a little.
Also try talking to the owner of the dealer. That usually does the trick too
You wouldnt believe the number of times I had to do this.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do, but go there in person. No one at Mitsubishi nor the BBB can do anything.

BBB is a complete waste of time. I had a dispute with a body shop for services rendered very poorly and when I filed my complaint they laughed at me. All that happens in your complaint gets put on their website if they don't correct the situation.

For Title issues you need to deal with the title clerk of the dealership. Let your sales guy know that since you can't title the car in your name you will need to bring the car back and get a full refund since you can't title the car in your name. If they are refusing to help you with what amounts to paperwork then your sales guy loses his commision. Check into the legalities of what I'm telling you to make sure because they won't want the car back.....I'm sure you don't want to let the car go so this is more or less to make their title clerk get off her lazy *** and do her damn job.

My sister is a title clerk for a chevy dealership so if you have anymore questions let me know and I can ask her.

Thanks for everybody's help! I'll try a few of the things mentioned here and see if I can get them to cooperate with me.
