Alright, about to buy an evo after looking for a year! no kidding..

Anyways, it has come down to two evos, both are 05's (only year I'm looking for) one is white and the other is black. Both are pretty much stock expect for an exhaust and intake. About the same price, though it would be nice to see it person but don't have the time for such journeys until next week. Now, I'm not asking for a poll but more of experiences or better off with. If anyone knows these owners, please let me know!

both have the same amount of miles, I guess it just comes down to which is in the best running condition and what kind of deal you can get for them

they are both the same but different color? so you're asking if we think you should choose white or black????

if so, i say white.

 

i say go with the ssl tb hands down!!!

 

they are not both the same one has a sunroof the other does not. i personally dont like white evos and the black evos are ok. Hard to see exterior mods on black. White and cf go nices at least. I dont like how cheezy the orginal owner blacked out the center caps and the logo on the back. ITs done sloppy and you can see some overspray, but if i had to choose i get the black least its fully loaded with sunroof. I personally dont really like leather most folks dont keep it clean and it gets really nasty. If you keep yours clean it will be nice.i can change the rims and strip the logo. I love me a SUNROOF.

 

Used to love WW evo's but I'd go for the black one bc of the sunroof as well. Love my evo to death, but if I had to do it again, i'd def go back and get the SSL...if you get rid of the badges in the back, get some rims and prob a new steering wheel (wth was the owner thinking?!) i think you'll be okay. The interior looks better kept anyway. gl and hopefully you can get a price for either or. I'd say win-win situation

 

Yeah, I'm feeling the black one too! But the dealer is being greedy! He won't let it go for 18!

Does anyone see the steering wheel missing a piece on the black one?

 

steering wheel isn't missing a piece it's just the DIY was done crappy...just get that black paint off n u'll b fine

Go with the White one.

Depending on what you want to use this for...

1. It has lower mileage
2. Comes @ a Cheaper Price
3. It is lighter ( No sunroof)
4. Nice Tail lights. lol
5. White is SICK!

 

id like to see some underhood shots of the white one but all in all they seem real similar. both have a few random mods
