hi guys,

I have just purchase a evo 9 2007 MR RS, it is in a fully stock form except for a cat-back.

Everything was fine until I changed my intercooler kit to 3inch ETS kit, HKS kansai CF box with HKS RS filter. Stock ECU was reflashed after installing the mods.

The problem ONLY occurs when i drive with the A/C on, when I come to a stop at a junction, the idle goes to 2K rpm for 5 secs before falling back to normal idle.

Without A/C , all is well.

What could be the problem?

Mods : 3inch intercooler ETS kit, HKS kansai CF box with HKS RS filter, MBC , Apexi N1 Cat-Back. All else STOCK.

There where NO 2007 Evo's.

 

D'oh! Maybe it's Limited Edition #1 / 1...

 

might have something to do with your reflash. what sort of reflash was it?

 

Also no such thing as a MR RS also...

Did you do everything at once? Try putting 1 piece back to the way it was and see what happens. Start with intake since that's easiest. If nothing, then your tune is probably bad.

Thanks for the replies. to clarify on the model, it is the very last of the JDM evo 9 MR revision,RS spec. This is an import from japan.

The reflash used was a stock ECU reflash, not sure if there is brand like ecutek etc.
