New Here, pondering and (really just dreaming) lancers

I did drive a very very well kept '86 Porsche 944 (no turbo, which is now a good thing), but someone performed a hit-n-run and i went sliding all over the road and that car is gone, so now I have somewhere around 6 grand to get another decent car with....(maybe I should not worry about lancers?)

Anyways, I found an '04 ralliart with somewhere around 75000 miles for about 6 grand, BUT I also came upon an '03 Evo VIII with 55,XXX miles for 6 grand... so my question is, would you buy it? No it has not been in a wreck (as far as I could tell from the source, there did not appear to be any external damage). This car has had several modifications though, they are also apparently installing a meth kit..., but it had a very large list of mods, would you still buy it? (i had read that you shouldn't buy a modded Evo) Back to the ralliart, I was wondering what kind of maintenance would be expected, and how easy it is to work on and make better.

Thanks guys!

Id say its a Scam. Unless you see it in person and drive it.
Either way, an evo for 6 gand is a steal, even if the motor needs replacing.
Runa carfax though, and make sure it doesnt have stolen parts or isnt built from them. Sounds fishy..

but a hell of a deal
