Warranty Question

Hey guys,
My girlfriend just bought me a ralliart front lip for my evo x for our anniversary, and I've been reading lately about how many people have had their warranty voided for minor things that shouldnt have been a problem.

Does anyone foresee mitsubishi voiding my warranty for installing a front lip? I know that it usually isn't a problem (it never was on my WRX), but this is my first mitsubishi, so i have absolutely 0 experience dealing with reluctant service reps from this company.

Anyone think it will be a problem?

P.S.
I know a front lip is a weak first mod, but i was actually planning on keeping the car stock, my gf just surprised me with the lip. So do try to avoid what is sure to be an irresistable urge to flame

I know there is a warranty thread available, but i wanted to find some people with firsthand experience if at all possible.

This really depends on your local dealer.
We had a dealer near portland(which they closed down) and they were ultra mod friendly.
This might help you in your area, thought this is very broad list

^i hope ur right man. I kno its just a lip, but ive been reading all the posts of the people who have had their warranties voided for the silliest things, like worn tires, and it makes me really apprehensive to put this thing on. from what i was reading, mitsubishi takes any and all excuses to void warranties, and i was just curious if anyone had any sort of firsthand experience.

additionally, i was hoping that since it is a ralliart style lip, it might not be an issue, since isnt ralliart a division of mitsubishi? would this be a factor?

ralliart or not, a lip is not gonna void ur warranty....now, if u bolt it up and mess something up on ur front bumper like cracking or some bolts rust they wouldnt cover it
