newbie to evo IX need help

hi guys Im from singapore and i just got my evo IX but kinda ran into some sticky situation over here ...hope the bros out here can help me out with this one...

here's a short history ...

ride's a Evo 9RS Euro Spec ... 2 Catalytic converters and therefore 2 O2 Sensors (1 of them at the downpipe)...
1) CEL came on with O2 sensor
2) removed all 2 catalytic converters
3) CEL still there so tested with another working O2 sensor; took out the front O2 and replaced with the sensor
3) drove for about 45 mins and CEL came on again
4) this time no more O2 error but warm-up catatyst efficiency error code ...

is this because of my decat? if so what can i do...workshop asking me to put a standalone ECU ...but i did my lil research and i realised this code comes on when the 2 O2 sensors reading are about the same...(the norm for Euro spec is the 2 sensors should show flunctuations in reading, correct me if Im wrong) .. but since i decat'ed it is possible my readings at the 2 sensors would become almost the same rite .. so in that case what should I do...another possibility is a loose spark plug and / or leaking exhaust..but i havent had that checked out ...any recommendations? desperate to save the hole in my wallet hahaha

you can mod your rom with bits to remove the CELs.

to flash the stock ecu you need a tactrix cable and a laptop with the necessary software.

the cable is a MUST for any evo owner.

check the ecuflash forum. if you need more help feel free to Pm me.
