I joined this site a while back but never got into posting much due to the fact that i would find all my answers quickly using the search...now my problem at this point is that

1. I dont like making pointless posts that have been done already.

2. I need 50 posts to post in the For Sale section.

so my question is that in what sections will my post count actually be counted because ive posted maybe 10 times since last week and i still only have 2 posts to my name...im kinda salty fellas help me out

 

The newbie area doesn't increase your post-count, neither do the Marketplace, U.S. Regional & International Forums and Miscellaneous forums, AFAIK.

The rest I don't know about. It would be nice if this information was readily available in a sticky somewhere.
