Question Trying to Post in For Sale Wtb Forum

I've been a member for more than 30 days but I have not made the 50 posts. I was hoping a moderator could bypass my block on posting in the For Sale forum. That would be greatly appreciated

Honestly, I don't understand how 50 posts will give you credibility. I've been a member on here for 2+ years, I check new posts every day. I have people and major tunners that can vouch for me. I came up across a hood that I want to buy in-person, but because of this rule I can't. It doesn't make me or the seller happy, yet some scammer can spend a day posting and get you for your money. Is there a guarantee from evom that if I have 50 posts and I get cheated buying from this site, evom will return my money?

I have to agree with reno; Ideally it should be on a per-person basis, however that's out of the question because of the sheer number of members on EvoM.

I think what might be better would be that you need 50 posts to START a FS thread, but you don't need 50 posts to REPLY to a FS thread. AFAIK the buyer usually pays before the seller ships, so it's mostly the seller that needs to be "trustworthy".

there is no guarantee, even for an oldtimer. when you buy, check the person's name and address and phone number. if it is legit then you can do the transaction. evom is just a venue for selling parts, buying etc.

Well, I knew another month wouldn't pass without one of these threads. Answer is no as the Doc said, and please see our revised rules....as I've been telling everybody for months now, we've revised our requirements upward just as I said we were going to do.
