Need a warm welcome...

After almost being chewed alive in the Off Topic section, thought I'd properly introduce myself.

My name is Evelyn and I'm 22 years old/young. Graduated from Cal State Northridge last year, got my BA in Child Development. Currently work as a teacher assistant and love working with kids.

I currently own a 2004 Scion xA, have had it for about 6 years and still love it. I currently have been an Evo X owner for about 2 months. Although I love the Evo, I'm not sure if I love the community (please prove me wrong here). I went to MOD for the first time this year, and had fun. Saw a couple people I knew which was cool so overall the vibe there was awesome...

But anyway, before I get carried away here are some pics of the xA :

And the Evo X :

I was going to sell the xA but, as my first car I just can't. I've started modding the Evo but don't wanna go all out like I did with the xA haha...

The Evo so far had an AEM intake and HKS exhaust. That's it for now.

dump the first car already. women get sentimental about stuff like that (my wife does, anyway). When you're 50 you'll still think about it but you won't need it sitting in the garage.

Good luck with Child Development. One of the more thankless jobs out there. At least in CA getting a job in the teaching field is easier than it is in WA.

Nice Car!
Lol I have 3 cars now because I'm still not willing to let my Mazda go! It's still a good car and I'm using it for practice on the track.

I do want to become a teacher one day so as of right now i am looking more toward teaching at a private school cause LAUSD is not doing good at all.... Worked for them for 3 years and didn't like it so yeah

Don't feel too bad, no one gets a warm welcome in off topic. Most of them are lancer owners anyway, so it's a case ***** envy (just kidding N/A guys). Welcome to the forum and good luck with evogirls.

Always nice to see another girl in an evo Don't base your experience with the community with online boards. The evo community is friendly for the most part. Actually out of all the communities I've seen, Evos and VWs are the friendliest. Anyways, congrats on the beauty

Oh and the thing about off-topic is you have to have a keen sense of humor and take everything they say with a grain of salt. Once you show you're not serious, they're like kittens lol.
