By the way, Ill have the local authorities and my insurance company on speed dial for when you use your "crane" to drop that engine on my car. Ill even hold my breath too...........

uhh I've installed a lot of ingines in my day and uhh I've never had to rent a crane. What engine are you putting in a tank "mivec" engine?

 

You will need to gut the car....take everything out of the interior. example:carpet, sound deadening material, passenger seat, rear bench, all the seat belts except for yours, the dash and everything in and behind it, the roof and door liner.
Then get in the engine.....take out everything out that is not helping the engine run or make HP. example:A/C system, P/S, cruise control, ABS and any other BS wiring you can yank.
Now move to the trunk and gut it out, everything goes.
Now your ready to spend some $$ and make some HP. Get a turbo kit, 2.5" turbo back exhaust, and see where you at!!!
try it!!!

Why don't you just go to US lancer home page dude and read what Boe has done to his car rather then ask all of us what he's got done? I would tend to think there are probably alot of people on here that want the fastest US lancer. Me too. Money talks man. If you've got it to spare then awesome, you probably can be fastest. I plan on spending ten grand atleast on my car next year so good luck. By then though, maybe road races drag lancer will be running low 12's. Who knows.
