Spark Plugs

hey i just got my denso iridiums today. now how the hell do you install them on our lancer? i tried but its confusing under the hood. can anyone help me out?

Remove Old plugs by turning counterclockwise... Install new plugs by turning clockwise. It also helps to remove the wires first.

Actually - the article does the trick... shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes.

I did this about a week ago. There is a thread somewhere on here with step by step instructions and pics. It's real easy. Make sure you have the right sockets before you start, else you have to start over when you get em.

BTW how often should you change spark plugs?

the densos are pre-gapped, but its always safer to check the gapping to make sure they didnt bend any in transit... the wrong gap will cause bogging and other problems down teh line... just a precaution!

correct.. they should be pregapped but you should check them anyway... and your gonna need a sparkplug socket to add/remove the plugs.
