Whats up guys. i currently have a turbo xs front mount intercooler on my 30r. questions is, if i decide to run a 37r,is the intercooler good enough? its a 3.5 inch. Been thinkn about gettin a dif front mount but some people say its fine.

Any comments are appreciated

 

I have no idea who says it's fine but for a BBK, FP HTA GREEN, RED, 35R and bigger you need to go with something a bit better then TXS. Oh and if you do go 37R then you will need a 4" core...I would suggest BR, AMS, and ETS

 

What are the full dimensions on the TXS Fmic? Do they have an est hp rating?

 

I'd also suggest the buschur race core. Proven, many times.

Yeah, yeah guys. If you want crazy numbers with the 37r the turbo xs is going to drop around 700 whp and up. I have an Turbo Xs intercool with my FP Red and saw power in the mid 500. I could have gotten more power but I'm on stock block so I don't wanna chance it. Anyway, the 37r is a realy aggressive turbo which is best at high boost so go with buschur race mount.

 

The 3.5" intercooler should be able to support the power, but if you plan on pushing the car and running it hard back to back, I would go with the 4.0" thick intercooler. If you have any other questions let me know! We have the 4.0" intercoolers on the shelf ready to go! $599.00 Shipped!
