I am lookin into purchasing a new evo. I previously owned an 2003 ww evo 8 and im trying to find an evo 9 right now. I need a little help from my fellow forum members. Im not quite sure if i want to purchase and evo mr or just get a regular gsr. Also cant decide on a color. The three im lookin at are wicked white, electric blue or tarmac black. Help me out!!

 

Are you planning on colovers? Without the bilstiens I don't se an advantage of an MR. BBS are nice though.

I used to have an 8 and loved it. Is the mivec on the 9 really worth it???

 

well I ask because if you are more for 1/4 then the GSR is the way to go. But the MR comes with suspension stuff which is good for autocross, but also comes with a 6 speed, which I wouldnt recommend for Drag racing.

 

I like to autox and drag, but im not gonna be dragging it every weekend. I just want a nice car that I can just cruise in. I loved going for long rides in my evo soo im gonna purchase another one.

 

I would say GSR then.

 

Mivec is great. If I could upgrade I would.
