The car came with a cracked bumper and a dented purple hood, don't mind the primer, my BF never got around to getting it painted yet.

Welcome to the board. Good luck shopping for an Evo. It took me 8 months to find one in the midwest.

 

Thanks, I have been reading up on the 8's and 9's and I have my mind set on a 9 MR. Ill see what I get though, have to sell my 97 talon and than I will see how much I have for an Evo than. I just hope they are reliable, I don't wanna spend 16-20k for a POS.

Sadly closer to 16k and you'd be getting either a POS or a deal of a lifetime for a nice IX MR. I searched everything within 6 hours of me daily on used car sites, ebay, and all the relevant EVO forums. There are deals to be had, but I'd be counting on more like 22k for a low mile (sub-35k) MR and that's even a deal depending on mileage, history, etc. Happy hunting!

Nice Talons, by the way. I have one sitting in the garage waiting for some TLC before I can sell it.

 

Yeah, I know a few people that got their IX's for under 16.5k. Guess it all depends on who your friends with and where you live. Thanks the 91 was my boyfriends he gave it to me about a year ago. It's very clean for a 18 year old car.

Welcome, I'm new to the forum myself. Just to give you an idea, I just picked up my 2006 Evo MR with 19k on it and I paid $21,500 and that was from a Nissan dealer where the original owner traded it in on a new 370Z. I had a friend that worked there call me and tell me about it and he gave me a little bit of a deal. They were asking $27,900. Happy hunting.
