Choosing boost controllers?

Well it's time to start to modding my evo
so i figured ill start out with making the most out of what i have right now
(turbo)
i really want an ebc but the difference between a mbc is really something.
pretty much my question is an ebc worth more than a mbc?
if so suggestions on which one to pick?
and personal experience with either one would greatly help me
thanks

You may want to look into using a 3-port boost solenoid (GM or similar) with ECU controlled boost. It shouldn't be too much more than a MBC but should give more control. Depends on who is going to be tuning your car though.

More than a few vendors sell a 3 port EBC tuned on the stock ECU. The one I purchased even plugged into the stock wiring. These newer boost controllers are making all other ones obsolete. I paid under $100 for mine.

I too recommend the Hallman MBC. The EBC are not as accurate and don't respond
as well to changes in PSI as quickly. Plus theres also the dramatic cost difference as well.
