Just bought my very FIRST EVO
Hey guys, Ive been on this forum for a while, just reading and researching and I just picked up my first EVO.
Ive been in the 4g63 family for a while, had a DSM for over 5 years. So I am sorta familiar with these cars I had a fully built 60trim 1g DSM with supporting mods.
Now I just have to say I LOVE THE EVO!!! It has won me over in every aspect!
Anyways on to the car, its an 05 EVO. I got it from a polish guy who just put a cheap ebay muffler on it.and car the it would not go past 4k RPMS. It would struggle to hit redline. I noticed that he had a coupler as a pipe for his intake..so after replacing it with a hard pipe the car ran alot stronger but had a crap load of boost leaks. After fixing some boost leaks..it pulllllss nice and strong!!
So far mods are a Megan racing tubular manifold/ megan racing o2 housing/3" cat-less turbo back exhaust/rims and tires/HID's/carbon fiber hood. I did this all within 3 weeks..went a little crazy but I know the season is almost gone so I wanna try to get all the bolt-ons quick as possible.
Future plans (within a week) boost controller, fuel pump, cams, and NICE TUNE!

I am seriously on this site 5 hours a day ATLEAST. First thing i do when i wake up is go on my phone to see posts. I wake up in the middle of the night cause I have an idea and want to see if someone did it or to see which cams are best for me.
I know what you mean. I do the same & I haven't got my evo yet!
