changing oil...

im changing the oil in my evo for the first time, and im not sure how many quarts i need...i got 5 do i need more...this aint my first oil change im just not sure how much an evo holds

I think it's 4.8 with the filter, something like that. But yea, usually right around 4.5

Five quarts of oil is plenty when replacing the filter. But usually 4.25 to 4.5 qts
is all you really need. Anymore than that and it will usually be over filled FYI.
