Just checking in
What's up everybody name's Pete, just bought a used 05 evo MR with 30k miles, one owner(old guy) and I couldn't be happier. It has a exhaust, and a k&n drop in. Unfortunately I have a SES light one day after driving so I will be going back to the stealership. I've been reading alot, and almost think it might be better to just check it myself.
Oh well I'm looking forward to learning alot through the forums. I'll be doing Solo events, and if I ever hear of one I'd like to do some rallycross events. So if your in Illinois, and know where the rally racing is at please let me know. Hell I might even try and throw a rallycross event myself who knows.

Hey pete, welcome. if i were you i would just take ur car to autozone or any parts store and have them check the light to see what code its throwing, most can then tell u what the code means. if not just come back here and check. I live in Illinois but i see your over northwest. im down in belleville area near st louis, but originally from crystal lake up near chicago. i dont know of any rally races around anywhere in illinois, there used to be some in lake geneva untill the race track closed a few years ago.
I'm thinking I'll just head up to "the zone" . Faster, and easier to deal with. It really sucks that Rally racing isn't more mainstream. I just don't understand American motorsports. We're dominated by all kinds of Nascar shows, a crap load of circle dirt tracks.
