LOL @ people thinking you can get a quality HID kit for under $100. Just b/c they are bright and are easy to install doesn't make them quality. I've seen too many cars burn to the ground from those cheap kits.

HID's inside a housing meant for halogen bulbs will never look right. The light dispersion pattern will be horrible and probably blind oncoming traffic. The light pattern on OEM HID evos is already bad enough.

Nope. No longer own any cars with their kits. My buddy has a wrx with the 55w 8000k kit, its brighter and has more of a whiter color than anything i have any seen.
On my IX MR, im just rocking their 35w 6k bulbs. Well worth the $35 spent

Some people just hate on affordable stuff. Lol @ them thinking they need to spend $300+ on an HID kit.

Do those HID kids come with the adjustment knob to aim them up and down?

Will they stay on with the brights? Do they also have fog lights? How's the cut off?

Please post picture!

Correct the actual projector is different for both. They have a different focus. So putting HID in a non-HID housing although it will work and probably better than stock, will still project light unevenly and most of the time will shine into the eyes of oncoming traffic. Halogen projectors don't have a beam cutoff that limits the height that the light will shine to.

Adjustment knobs are a Mitsubishi factory housing feature.
Yes they stay on with the brights.
You can retrofit HIDs into the foglight spot if thats your thing.
Cut off is determined by the projector itself, not the bulbs or ballasts.
