To all the veterans is this typical with the scarcity of MRs. I am in Philly metroplex and it seems like for every MR there are 10 non- MRs - a bit of an exageration but you get the drift.

Just wondering if that is because the model year (2010) is young or is this typical for EVOs regardless of model year?

More IX MR's where made than any other model.

The best production number data available for IX is

0358 - Evolution IX RS
3667 - Evolution IX (includes SE editions)
4176 - Evolution IX MR
8201 - Total exported Evolution IX to North America (USA)

 

There's not a lot of them when I got mine. I called dealerships in IA, MN, and WI which had a plenty of GSR's, no MR's. I found 1 brand new MR left from '08 within' 15 miles of me so I didn't have travel too far.
