blow off valve kill your mpg??
by runnin an open bov with stock maft you will be running rich after each shift when your rpms bog out so to speak or drop faster than normally if the air is being recirculated. when u put a bov on a stock setup car that air that was once being thrown back into the intake pipe AFTER the mass air, is now being vented atmospheric and is absent, therefore running incorrectly and probably throwing a check engine light for a possible misfire code in some cases.
since it sounds like u want the sound, just get an intake, and a different recirculating valve, ull be able to hear the loud PSSSHHHHT or whatever better.

lol oh man - why do you want a BOV? is it strictly to hear the noise after the shift cuz im assuming since I don't see any mods you may or may not have any. If you do have some and your running a higher boost level then I could see the need for it.
If you just want the noize as stated above, get a cold air intake and if you REALLY feel the need for a BOV - get a EVO 9 metal BOV. Less issues - great bov but I really wouldn't even bother with a BOV personally especially on a stock car.
I would first start with a cold air intake / boost controller / and a tune for basic mods to give you some quick additional power.
Then a turbo back exhaust etc. etc. etc.
