Hello my names Mike.. always been into Mitsubishi's use to have a 3rd generation eclipse with the evo 8 head swap and turbo set up. kinda miss it. Well shopping for my next car now and pretty sure about getting a new Evo 10.. Dont know weather to go with the MR's new automatic system or just go with the GSR's five speed in a performance view. since thats pretty much the biggest difference between the two.. Was wonderin if i can hear some of yalls thoughts on this, it would really help me make my decision and yall would be a big help.

 

So you plan on getting an EVO X? I think the evolution model only comes in paddle shift but i might be wrong? All of the manuals ive seen are the non evo models which are the weaker ones. How about getting an evo 9?

 

lol ya i got a friend thats all about evo 8 and 9's.. he keeps tellin me that there alot easier to find parts for and easy to get fast.. but ive been looking at the Evo 10's and they seem to make pretty good numbers but heard they are on the heavy side.. but seen a few at the track hittin 12.5's with basic bolt ons and a meth kit and a tune.. witch is pretty good.. i really set my mind on a new evo just dont know weather to go with a GSR or MR.. the MR's are strickly paddle but the Evo GSR are 5 speed.
