Hello! Need some of your guys' help!

Hey guys/gals I have been looking for an Evo 9 MR in GG and since I have found nothing for sale here in Seattle I have decided to look else where. Once place that I have found is California has alot of GG MR's. Before I even take the plunge on looking at these 2 I was hoping to get some feedback from you guys. these are the 2 I'm interested in:

and second one:

I have heard some weird things about Puente Hills, having to do with bad customer service, but most of the threads i have read are from years ago, and in the first one its scary that the MR is pictured in front of an Autobody place. Both look great but i wanted to see if anyone knew anything about both these cars or if anyone could let me know what they think!

neither are MR's but the second one is an SE and is way over priced. have you had any luck looking through private listings? price wise, thats what i would suggest.

The first one is not overpriced really at all.. But im pretty sure the first one is a M.R. Looks clean and is stock appearing. The shifter looks to be a 6 speed shifter. I have a 06 se and the shifter does not look like that. Both look like good deals to me, the second one could be dropped in price a little tho. Good luck, remember dont go cheap and be patient

hmm now that i look at them closer they look like MRs. theyre listed as 5sp though. if youre interested in either i would def talk to a rep about that. still over priced imo.

both listing say 5 speed. So I would say not MR's. Second one is defiantly too pricey IMO. The first one seems to be a decent deal. I got my VIII for a few thousand less then that with more then half of the millage. 10k....That was back in early 06 when the IX's were still going for over 30k. This private sale. Took me a while to find it and it was super clean and I basically stole this car.

Look around and be patient like Brsox said.

for sure thanks guys, i saw that they said 5 spd in their listings but i seriously thought both were MR's, the second one looks like an MR SE because of the red stitching, but the knob looked weird

Both cars are MRs - 6-speeds - though I'm not sure why one would look for a MR. All things being equal, the first car is a better deal. However, with Evos all things are rarely equal. I would not suggest buying any Evo without having the car checked over by an Evo-specific shop. Good luck.
