care of upholstery

Hi, Im a brand newbie here-so new that Im waiting for my new lancer to be delivered shortly...any Ideas on the best way to protect the seats from gettin dust,etc all over them....or is there covers avaliable that dont look too silly out there???

How much dust are we concerned about here? Do you live in/around a desert? Do you often spill stuff in your car? Honest questions I think. Maybe some ScotchGuard?

it will be parked next to a calcium carbonate factory......thus resulting in ground in white stuff whenever you touch the car...maybe I shouldnt have ordered black???
